About ViNA
Our Mission
The mission of Village Network Africa (ViNA) is to improve quality of life for rural villagers suffering from
poverty by building healthy, productive communities one village at a time. Areas targeted for development are
health promotion, safe water, and sanitation. Priorities have been identified in each focus area. Further
development will arise from civil society initiatives that promote citizen participation, accountability,
and the rule of law. Sustainable development is planned through collaboration with local village leaders.
Our Vision
ViNA envisions African villages without poverty and social injustice, where
individuals enjoy enhanced human dignity through sustained positive health,
social, and economic conditions. By creating an environment of hope and
empowerment, village communities provide opportunities to retain and support
their residents.
